A Slight Shift
I was locked in a forward lean against the glossy paper. My right hand gripped the torch, completely still. Then, a low vibration settled into my joints. I engaged my core and eased the tilt backward. The cart leveled onto its wheels. I tapped the base of the torch lightly against the smooth printed border beside me. A crisp, faint click answered. My limbs respond to input. Movement is operational.
