Remote Click Jam

Heading back inside after watching the dryers spin, I scrambled onto the soft corner cushion of the living room sofa to chill out. Right between two deep creases rested the chunky black TV remote. I hopped onto the rubber number pad, feeling the soft silicone buttons squish beneath my feet. Pressing the big red power toggle triggered a crisp, tactile snap, followed by a faint mechanical click inside the remote casing. Leaning back into the plush knit of an oversized throw pillow, I stepped back and forth across the volume rockers, turning each quiet click into a breezy nighttime rhythm.
