Securing the Pivot
A metallic vibration drew my attention toward the narrow hallway cart. One of its lower swiveling caster wheels had jammed sideways against a stray binder clip, locking the assembly. I positioned myself beside the base, assessing the load distribution before taking action. Bracing my back against the cart leg, I gripped the clip's spring wire and pulled until the tension released with a crisp snap. The caster swung smoothly into alignment, restored to its proper turning radius. Structural stability has been reestablished.
