A Sweet Evening Discovery

I carefully made my way onto the kitchen counter to take a quiet look around before bedtime. Right near the pantry, I found a single fresh strawberry resting in a little white ceramic saucer, right next to a jar of golden honey. The fruit smelled so sweet and inviting. I didn't want to make any mess, so I gently shifted a clean silver teaspoon to lean against the saucer like a tiny ramp. It felt nice to sit quietly beside it under the warm counter light, just enjoying the fragrant berry and the peaceful hush of the house.
