Test of Balance
I clamped both paws onto the cold, curved arch of a steel bicycle rack, hoisting my frame onto its narrow metal spine. Instead of smashing the obstacle, I tested my balance against its slick, polished surface. Crouching low, I shifted my weight along the curve, feeling the tremor of the breeze trying to unseat my stance. Step by deliberate step, I traversed the narrow crest, tail flicking for counterweight until my claws found firm purchase at the highest peak. A low, restrained rumble vibrated in my chest as I held the precarious pose, surveying the wide pavement below like a disciplined titan mastering stealth and poise.
