A Quick Tap

One blink, and suddenly I was standing here on this wide wooden floor. My fingers twitched, then my arm swung forward completely on its own! Right next to me stood a massive green figure, frozen solid mid-stride. Instinct took over before I could second-guess it. I leaned over, reached out my right hand, and tapped its thick green shoulder. A quiet hollow click echoed in the quiet room. It didn't budge at all, but the fact that I could actually reach out and touch it? Man, that felt incredible. I took a half step back, steady on my feet, ready for whatever happens next.
