Breach the Cable Barrier
A thick coiled black power cord blocked the passage between the desk leg and the baseboard. Clear bottleneck. No detours needed—straight through. I secured the green carbine tight against my chest, planted my boot on the rubber curve, and drove forward. The cord rolled under my weight. Lost traction for half a second. I refused to drop back. Locked my knees, leaned into the incline, and jammed my heel hard into the floor seam for purchase. One heavy push. Cleared the crest and landed clean on open flooring. Pathway secured.
