A Flutter of Yellow Wings

I waddled up from beneath my silk sleeping mask straight onto the broad oak windowsill to catch the morning air! Resting next to a white ceramic planter sat an open origami booklet and a bright yellow paper square. Bracing my bottom plush rays against the warm wood, I nudged a folded paper butterfly with my side ray. It teetered right on the sill edge, then flipped over with a soft paper rustle, landing upright right against the sunny pane. Its little yellow paper wings cast a cheerful double shadow across my cheek, making me giggle at my new sunny flutter-friend!
