A Morning Climb
I hooked both of my long arms around the bottom rung of the wooden dining chair and gave a big tug. My fuzzy red legs swung clear off the rug, and for a second I wobbled like a pendulum! But I held tight, pulled with all my strength, and reached one paw to the next bar. The polished wood felt cool and super smooth against my fur. By the time I scrambled onto the woven seat, morning sunshine was warming my back, and I could see all across the wide tabletop like I had just conquered a giant wooden mountain.
