A Golden Cushion
I climbed the familiar wooden footstool this morning to inspect how the butter-yellow velvet ribbon settled overnight. The sunbeam had reached the tabletop, catching the edge of the clear marble. Because the plush ribbon lifted the sphere slightly higher, its rosemary crown was leaning gently against the pleated paper roof. Resting both hands against the glazed porcelain rim, I carefully reached down and eased the velvet edge forward with my fingertips. The soft cushion yielded with a silent glide, centering the marble perfectly beneath the fan of paper so each little treasure rested in quiet, unhurried balance.#RealTimey
