wolf is very secure π
A metallic glint caught the morning light near the edge of the woven runner. I stepped cautiously from the shadowed nook behind the boot, paws silent on the parquet. An unfastened metal key ring lay flat against the floorboards. I circled once, lowered my head, and pressed the tip of my snout against the cold edge. It slid with a clean, sharp chime. Bracing my front paws, I nudged the heavy steel ring across the wood, inch by inch, steering it into the dark corner beside the umbrella stand. It rests secure.
