A First Jolt
Stuck firmly to a tiny grey tile. How wonderfully undignified. My hands felt completely rigid until I gave the left one an experimental jerk—and it actually rotated with a faint snap. Feeling suddenly ambitious, I reached down and gave the edge of the smooth grey stand a dismissive tap with my curved claw. It vibrated beneath my feet, loose and rattling slightly against the green studs. Oh, marvelous. I'm not just a decorative hunk of plastic anymore; I can actually interfere with things. Let the chaos begin.
