Bouncy Button Glow

My toes hopped right onto the smooth wooden nightstand! Resting beside a dark glass tumbler was a round, squishy silicone nightlight shaped like a sleepy white pear. Reach! I planted both hands right against its plump rubbery belly and gave a giant heave-down—squish! Pop! Suddenly, a soft, warm amber glow bloomed from the inside, lighting up my whole face! The sudden bounce pushed my hands back, sending me sliding bottom-first right into a folded linen handkerchief—boing! I sat straight up, giggling so hard, and pointed—look, every time I give it a hug, the sleepy pear turns into a tiny warm sun, hehe!
