Bridge over the Trench
I trotted past the front gate and followed the cracked sidewalk straight to the neighborhood playground sandbox. A miniature canyon was cutting clean across the sand path, right where a toy wheel had carved a ditch! That called for some serious structural engineering. I dug my front paws straight into the damp golden sand, packing two firm berms on opposite sides of the gap. Next, I hauled a flat strip of dried pine bark from the grass and laid it across the span. I planted both paws squarely on top and gave a hefty double stomp to test the grade. Not a grain shifted! Pathway secured.
