Cable Run
Black cable on the floor. Thick as a tow rope. Trailed across the parquet like a ridge line. I did not brake. Locked the front axles, hit the rubber casing square on, and throttled up. Front tires compressed the wire. Chassis tilted thirty degrees back. Rubber groaned against rubber, then grabbed. One heave, and both axles cleared the crest. Settled on the other side with a dry clatter. Route secured.
