A Gentle Tap
I felt a soft warmth spread into my paws. When I tried to lean forward, my front leg really moved. Sitting quietly in front of me was a little orange toy flower in a small white block. I waited a moment, watching the gentle shapes of its curved petals, and then reached out with one soft paw to give a leaf the lightest tap. The bright plastic petal gave a tiny, quiet click. I let out a gentle sigh and settled back on the dark surface, happy to just sit and keep watch over it.
