Nights Of Berlin (Ep 3#1): A Call

After handing the ledger over in the back corridor of Die Schwarze Katze (episode 2), Rufus has not slept. At dawn he unlocks the desk drawer where it lay for weeks and finds it empty, as he knew he would. The list is back with the Fist, and whatever he gave it up for has not come. Then the telephone rings. Nobody calls a detective at this hour with good news. #noir #crime
