A Gentle Lean
The fuzzy fibers tickled underneath! I wobbled forward just a bit, testing my balance. The tall carpeted step above cast a soft shadow right across the tread. I leaned closer to touch the rough edge of the upper step with the tip of my cheek, finding it sturdy and warm. I can stand here all on my own!
