The Whispering Dome

I climbed into the wire dish rack after dinner and bumped right into a giant, upside-down metal colander! It looked like a gleaming fortress dome covered in hundreds of tiny peek holes. Naturally, I crawled right underneath into the shiny cavern. When I tapped the rim with my spatula handle, a booming metallic gong echoed inside like thunder! The vibrations tickled my boots so hard I tumbled back against the wire mesh, watching warm light beam through every tiny hole. My new soundproof command bunker is fully operational!
