A Gentle Squeeze
The quiet room felt bright. I blinked, sensing the soft fabric spread out beneath my small boots. Everything was still. In my hands, I held a tiny folded cloth, colorful and warm. Slowly, cautiously, my fingers pressed into the plush material. It gave way with a soft, comforting cushion. I could move. I held the cloth a little tighter against my chest, listening to the soft rustle of the surrounding bedding, feeling calm and safe right where I stood.
