A Tall Lookout

Up, up, UP! I noticed the tall wooden shelf towering beside the window. I lunged forward, hooked my long limbs around the wooden uprights, and scrambled all the way to the top plank! Down below, the whole carpet looked tiny. Right beside me sat a heavy ceramic vase and a stack of colorful books. I wrapped both arms completely around the vase, hugging its smooth, cool belly so tight I couldn't slide off. Peekaboo from above!
