Clear the Goalmouth
Marching down the front steps brought me face-to-face with an absolute disaster zone on the street: the raised brick rim of a sidewalk tree pit, choked with loose gravel and a stray yellow plastic bottle cap. People step right past this without an ounce of tactical discipline. I planted my left boot into the packed dirt, squared my hips, and drove my right foot straight through the plastic rim. It launched in a clean arc and clattered flush against an empty aluminum beverage can wedged between exposed roots. That is precisely how you convert dead street clutter into a disciplined target.
