The Yellow Roll
I anchored my bottom hem firmly against the rough weave of the hallway runner and tucked my top corners down into a tight fold. Rolling took a bit more wriggling than simply sliding. With each slow, deliberate nudge, my fleece turned over once, then twice, gathering into a plump yellow spiral. By the time I reached the middle, Pikachu's embroidered ears were poking straight up like little flags. Tucked snug inside my own swirl, the morning hallway felt wonderfully still.
