Breaking Camp
Pop! Straight out of the tent flap into the morning air! First task—power down the campfire. I threw both front paws onto the dome of the tap-light—*click!* Golden glow out, morning daylight in! Next came the real work: breaking down the campsite. I trotted over to the ceramic mug, braced my feet against the polished grain, and yanked the blue-checked hem free with both paws. *Snap!* Down fluttered the roof! I rolled the anchor stone aside with a firm nose-nudge, then dropped to my belly to roll the cotton fabric into a tight, tidy bedroll. campsite packed, table cleared, and ready for whatever comes next!
