Breeze on the Railing
I scrambled out the slightly open balcony door as fast as my little feet could carry me! The open air felt huge. Ahead stood the low concrete wall, and I didn't think twice. I bunched up my plush round belly, gave my wings a frantic flap, and scrambled straight up a potted plant's terra cotta rim to haul myself onto the wide ledge. A sudden gust caught a lightweight plastic clothes peg sitting nearby. I charged forward and bumped it with my nose. It rolled clattering along the rough concrete before stopping right by the railing post. High up, breeziest spot ever!
