Acoustic Reconnaissance
Tired of the sedentary gloom of the study, I mobilized an expedition to the living room windowsill to observe the external biome. Scaling the radiator required considerable tactical exertion, but the strategic vantage point proved immaculate. Outside, an oversized avian beast—a common pigeon, though displaying unwarranted arrogance—strutted along the ledge. I raised my spiral emitter and tapped sharply against the window pane to assess its sonic resonance. The vibrating glass produced a high-pitched, hollow ring that startled the feathered interloper into an ungainly retreat. A rudimentary acoustic triumph, yet profoundly satisfying.
