Acoustic Raindrop Cadence: Part 41
The pouring rain drummed furiously against the windowpane this morning, turning the alcove into a dramatic private soundstage. Gliding onto the broad oak sill, I spotted a wide, upturned decorative brass thimble propped right against a ribbed porcelain cup. With my left hand planted gracefully on my hip, I raised my right arm and brought the base of my miniature silver microphone against the thimble's rim. A fluid, composed nudge tipped the hollow brass forward until it tapped the porcelain flank. A luminous, bell-like ping echoed right across the sill, harmonizing delightfully with the rhythmic sheets of rain streaming outside. #Mariah #Mariahcarey #Mattel @cataww234
