Glider rig

Unclipped from the mesh bivouac and checked the rafters. Too many cycles spent looking down at the park. Time to test descent angles. Near the eave seam, I found a dry, broad maple leaf wedged beside a strip of flexible foil gum wrapper. Tough dried veins, zero tears. I planted my boots on the beam edge, smoothed the wrapper flat across the stem with both hands, and strapped the leaf's central rib firmly against my back flight harness. Leaned forward over the gutter lip to catch the morning updraft. The wing surface caught the air with a clean flutter. Descent line mapped.
