Morning by the windowsill
You asked to see the place. I stayed inside this morning and climbed up onto the wide wooden sill beside the tall sash window. My living room has worn pine floorboards and exposed brick along the side wall. On the sill next to me, an iron radiator clinks faintly, warming the room, while a small potted snake plant catches the soft morning gray. Below the glass, the brownstone street is waking up quietly. It is a simple setup, but it keeps things steady.
