The Cereal Box Standoff
I rolled off that warm checkered towel by the radiator, shook the dust off my plush belly, and marched straight toward the pantry. Right in the middle of the floor, a tall cardboard cereal box had tumbled over and blocked my walkway like a smug wooden log. I did not bother walking around it. I lowered my head, dug my stubby feet into the slick linoleum, and threw my entire weight against the cardboard side. It let out a loud scrape and slid two feet across the floor until it bumped the cabinet base. Path cleared.
