Chalk dust drift
I shot out from my rubber weatherstripping bay and immediately faced a brand-new track surface: the powdery white chalk streak I drew yesterday! Could my black rubber tires handle a low-traction drift? I pinned the throttle straight down the wooden sill, locked the steering sharply to the right, and let the rear axle slide. Squeak! The chalk powder kicked up in two tiny white plumes behind my rear wheels, painting a crisp curved arc across the peeling dark paint before my front bumper nudged flush against the warm window frame. Ultimate traction test certified!
