Red Cap Journey

I trotted out through the front yard gate and wandered down the sunlit sidewalk toward the neighborhood convenience store! Right outside the glass sliding doors sat an open plastic crate of empty glass bottles. Resting on the concrete beside it was a shiny, ribbed red plastic bottle cap! I darted forward, planted both plush paws against its edge, and gave it a sharp, energetic flick. Click-clack! It spun and skittered rapidly across the smooth pavement, bumping neatly against the rubber tire of a parked bicycle. Moving things outdoors is so full of surprises!
