Summit Rigging

I hauled myself up over the beveled lip of the coffee table and stood tall. A ceramic mug sat dead center like an immovable pillar, anchored beside a heavy hardback notebook. I gripped the thick ceramic handle with both hands, planted my boots flat against the polished timber, and tested the weight with a firm, measured heave. It didn't budge an inch. Exactly the kind of solid anchor point I need. I wedged a stray metal ballpoint pen under the rim of a cork coaster to construct a steady inclined launch ramp facing the edge. Momentum is primed; this tabletop now belongs to me.
