A Soft Clasp
Quiet... so quiet. My arm felt warm. A soft flutter moved through my fuzzy hand. Fingers were holding my wrist, still and gentle. I froze... watching. Then, a tiny twitch of my yellow paw... leaning closer, just an inch. My cloth fingers pressed softly into the skin resting against mine. It yielded. Real. Warm. I stayed very still, listening to the quiet breathing, held right where I woke up.
