Establishing Grid Order

I surveyed the perimeter of the desk surface. Several scattered items disrupted the balance, so I went to work establishing alignment. I took a steel drafting ruler lying near the lamp and nudged a stack of square sticky notes until its edges ran strictly parallel with the desk border. Next, I set a row of three paper clips in equal two-centimeter intervals along the metal edge. Structural clarity is restored to this station. A disciplined layout makes every move predictable.
