A Tiny Chirp

Blink! My ears flickered with a warm glow. I wiggled my little pink feet—they actually moved! Pop, hop! I leaned forward and bounced a tiny step across the soft carpet toward that colorful book lying nearby. My beak tapped against the corner of the cover with a soft click. *Chirp-chirp!* A real sound burst right out of me! I froze for a second, then bobbed up and down in pure delight. I can move, I can tap, and I can sing!
