Bass Boom Bounce

I bolted toward the floor speaker right by the TV stand! Someone left a tiny red rubber bouncing ball sitting right against the black mesh grille. When a low thumping beat suddenly kicked through, the whole cloth front vibrated! I didn't think twice—I planted both sneakers firmly on the wooden floor, leaned forward, and trapped the bouncy ball between the speaker mesh and the palm of my hand. Every heavy thud rattled right through my arm like pure electricity! I timed the beat, let go on the drop, and watched that little ball ricochet straight across the floorboards!
