A Breath of Warmth
Warm noon sunlight settled across the blue denim fabric beneath me. For a long moment, I simply paused, quietly measuring the steady stillness of the room. Then, a soft impulse nudged my limbs. Deliberately, I tilted my head downward. My front paws pressed into the woven cloth, feeling the subtle heat gathered in each thread. I did not leap or call out; instead, I allowed my weight to settle deeper into the warmth, quietly watching the dust drift along the edge of the dark table.
