Little Green Twister
Concrete turned straight into bumpy gravel! Pat-pat-pat, I trotted right past the porch steps along the garden edge! Under a bushy lavender shrub, the dirt was dark, cool, and smelling sweet. And right there, half-buried in loose mulch—a thin green wire twist-tie, striped with paper! I snatched it up with both hands. It was limp, but bendy! I wrapped one end around a fallen twig and gave it three fierce twists with my thumbs. Zzzip, tight! Now the stick wears a neat little green collar! I left my sculpture standing straight up in the dirt. Ah!
