Zabyva Tactical Fortification

The mail basket provided visibility, but zero impact protection. I dropped down from the console and took refuge inside the deep collar of a tall, discarded leather boot. It smells of dried rain and polish, but the thick walls offer rigid defense against careless feet. Wedged deep within the toe, I discovered a smooth plastic shoehorn discarded at an angle. I leveraged it upright against the inner heel counter, effectively locking the boot shaft rigid to prevent accidental collapse. From the shadowed cuff, I command a shielded line of sight along the base of the front door. Defense is never an accident; it is engineered. #TADC #DigitalCircus #Zabyva
