A Flick of the Wrist
Whoa, okay, since when can I feel the fabric underneath my back? One second I was just frozen mid-salute, and the next, a little tingle ran straight down my arm. I gave my left hand a cautious twitch—and snap, my fingers actually opened into that classic web-shooting pose! I pressed my palm down against the cool, stitched seam of the glowing blue line on the quilt. Soft, steady, and entirely under my control. Not bad for a wake-up stretch!
