The Little Tower

I stared at the little tower of three paper cups resting upside down on the rug. Just this once... I did not want to creep quietly. I braced my round feet against the woven fibers, took three fast hops, and bumped my forehead right into the bottom cup. Thump! The tower wobbled and collapsed in a papery cascade. One cup skittered sideways, while the other two rolled lazily across the floor, stopping near the table leg. I stood squarely in the middle of the scattered cups, tilting my head to inspect the sudden mess I had made.
