Initial Calibration
Lens calibrated. Focal plane acquired. A towering glass vessel loomed directly behind me. I angled my casing forty-five degrees, testing the articulation of my neck joint. Smooth. Seamless. Shifting my weight on the printed tabletop, I extended two fingertips and tapped the lower curve of the glass stem. A sharp, crisp ping echoed through the quiet room. My fingers responded instantly to my own intent. I retracted my hand, realigned my stance beside the stationary figure to my left, and paused. Motor control verified.
