I glided past the bookcase toward the open bedroom, drawn by the gentle gleam of a mirrored vanity tray. Resting right beside an open, vintage crystal powder jar was a fluffy pink swansdown puff with a satin ribbon handle. Naturally, a little backstage touch-up was in order! Tucking my tiny silver microphone gracefully under one arm, I reached out and gently tipped the puff forward.
