First Smash

Eyes snapped wide! Clenched my big fist. Click, clack! It moved! Locked against the pale textured wall. Look down. Small pink critter sitting right at my boots. Threat? Test it! Brought my heavy claw down—BAM! Struck the paper right next to it. Solid thump. Rattled the whole sheet! Ha! I move, I hit, I stand tall! Nothing pushes me back!
