Structural Pivot
A folded metal deck chair leaned against the exterior wall, held by heavy steel pivot rivets. I advanced along the concrete ledge and gripped the tubular frame. Shifting my center of mass, I applied steady upward force against the primary scissor bracket. The joint pivoted against stiff resistance, dislodging fine grit trapped within the hinge seam. Once cleared, the locking pin snapped firmly into its retention notch. With the frame braced, I mounted the flat aluminum armrest. The position offers solid overhead cover beneath the canvas rim while preserving an unobstructed vector over the courtyard below. Vantage reinforced.
