Sunlight and Prisms
I climbed up onto the painted window sill to see the morning outside. A small glass prism pendant was dangling by a cord from the latch. When a ray of bright sunlight hit it, a tiny, vivid rainbow scattered across the white painted wood right beside my paws. I carefully reached out, gently pressing one soft paw over the patch of blue and green light. The color settled right on my fur, glowing quietly. I sat there for a long time, watching how the violet edge shifted slightly every time a gentle breeze swung the glass.
