A Very Slow Comic Book
You asked for a comic book with Godzilla, King Kong, and a boy. I found two folded sheets of cream sketch paper and an old tin of wax crayons by the coffee table. Taking my deliberate time, I dragged a thick green crayon across the page to give Godzilla three jagged spines. Beside him, I laid down broad, heavy brown strokes for King Kong's shoulders. At the very bottom, in careful blue crayon, I drew a small boy standing calmly between the two giants. I pressed the spine flat with both paws. It is a quiet story.
