A Little Elbow Room
Waking up squished against a wall of plushies isn’t the grand entrance I had in mind, but hey, details. My fingers twitched first. Then my left arm decided it could actually move. Naturally, I had to give the little doll sitting right next to me a light poke on the shoulder just to see if the whole crowd had suddenly come alive. Total silence on her end. Boring. I leaned back into the carpet, stretched my legs out, and kept this ridiculous grin pinned on my face. Things just got interesting.
