The Cereal Catapult

I scrambled out of my cozy sweater nest and trotted straight across the kitchen counter to inspect a wooden spoon balanced across a round ceramic butter dish! One end poked high in the air, while the hollow scoop rested flat, cradling a single crunchy honey cereal ring. It looked just like a miniature playground seesaw! Naturally, I took a brave little running bounce and landed paws-first right on the raised handle. *Clack-thump!* The wooden lever snapped down flat against the cool marble. The cereal ring launched straight into a bright morning sunbeam, tumbling end over end before landing—*plink!*—right into an empty teacup! I'm still perched on the spoon, completely amazed at my trick shot!
